Good to Go is the dream of Leatherstocking region resident Robin Supak who, along with her family and many friends, owns and operates the farm-to-counter takeout food restaurant in historic Cherry Valley, NY.

At Good to Go, the food is as organic and local as possible. We have been supporters of organic and local food for decades now. We even had one of the first organic gardening websites ever.

We encourage you to get involved in Good to Go. We still have equity shares available in the company which we have used to start our takeout food counter that uses food produced by our many local farmers. We have over forty members of the Good to Go Farm-to-Counter, LLC, so far. Crowdfunding helped us raise our start-up funds, and the last 4% of the company for sale will be used as operating capital. See our get involved page for more information.

The historic Village and Town of Cherry Valley New York is surrounded by attractions that draw more than a half a million visitors to the area every year (a half a million visit Otsego County alone). We are also surrounded by many organic farms that produce everything from organic, grass-fed beef to organic, free-range eggs, organic, grass-fed milk and cheese, organic fruits and vegetables, organic honey, and maple syrup.

We feature these local and organic foods as the primary ingredients in our variety of changing menus–based on what’s in season and available. We offer main courses, side dishes, snacks, drinks, and desserts made from ingredients from local and regional suppliers like Sonia Sola of Nectar Hills Farm, who ran her popular farm store in the space we are in, 17 1/2 Main Street.

We get our eggs from Hidden Camp Farm, nine miles away, near Canajoharie.  Windy Hill Goat Dairy‘s delicious feta cheese, which is in our Greek salad, is made from grass-fed goat’s milk, just four miles away. The extra aged New York sharp cheddar cheese you’ll find on our organic egg breakfast sandwiches (good anytime) comes from our shareholders Rog and Dot, who own and operate Spurbeck’s Grocery on Railroad Avenue in Cooperstown, NY, just 15 miles away. Rog’s walk in beer cooler has the best beer selection in the area, and it’s the only place you’ll find Anchor Steam for miles.

Our Spicy-Ale organic, grass-fed, gourmet beef jerky uses Ommegang Hennepin Ale, brewed at the Brewery Ommegang, 19 miles away, near Cooperstown. We use many of their wonderful beers in other recipes as well, as do the chefs in their cafe.

We have many industrious customers who turn their dreams into worthwhile careers, like making the lightest professional-level baseball gloves custom cut for each player’s hand for the most ergonomic fit in baseball.
