Texas-style Chili

Our Texas-style chili is back (by popular demand) on the Good to Go takeout menu!

You can have our family’s generations-in-development recipe for Texas-style (no beans) chili three ways: in a bowl topped with fixings, on a hot dog top with fixings, or on a baked potato topped with fixings. Basically, everything is topped with fixings.

Texas-style Chili 
Our no-bean chili is made with all-grass-fed beef from Larry’s Custom Meats in Hartwick. Comes with homemade, southern-style, jalapeno cornbread.*

All-grass-fed beef hot dogs from Larry’s Custom Meats, topped with our Texas-style chili, on a Heidelberg Bun. One dog: 6.
No chili: two dogs for 8, one for 5.

Our hours are noon to 7 pm, Friday through Tuesday, closed Wednesday and Thursday.

We have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, like our vegan minestrone soup and our gluten-free muffin bars. We can make any kind of order for your special occasions if given enough lead time.

Masala Dosa

Masala Dosa is a vegetarian dish often eaten as street food in southern India, and it’s on the Good to Go Takeout Menu.

Chili Cheese Dogs

Good to Go Farm-to-Counter Takeout Food in Cherry Valley would like to announce… we have Texas-style chili cheese dogs!

New York Cheese Steak

New York cheese steak tops the Good to Go takeout menu for Labor Day weekend.

The sliced, roasted, grass-fed, organic top round roast is from Nectar Hills Farm. The provolone cheese is from Palatine Dairy. The onions and peppers are grown in NY. And the Baguette is from Heidelberg Bread.

We’re back to our regular hours which are noon to 7 pm Friday through Tuesday, closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Chili Mac and Cheese

Our rich and creamy Mac and Cheese is back on the Good to Go takeout menu.

The Mac and Cheese can be topped with Hu-Hill Farm organic, grass-fed beef chili with beans. The chili can also top our organic, grass-fed beef hot dogs, for a delicious chili cheese dog.

We also have a lamb shawarma sandwich made with Bach Farms grass-fed ground lamb, Windy Hill Goat Dairy feta cheese and an array of middle eastern veggies, on a house pita.

Next week is the last week of the Cherry Valley Folk Fest for Food. Our special hours for the Thursday folk music performance are 2 pm to 9 pm. We’ll be closed Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

We will return to our regular days and hours the following week: open Tuesday, August 29, and closed Wednesday, August 30 and Thursday, August 31, and then open Friday, September 1.

Vegan Spring Rolls

Today only: vegan spring rolls on the Good to Go takeout restaurant menu.

We’re reminding everyone that we’ll be closed tomorrow and Wednesday so that we can be open for the Folk Fest for Food on Thursday, from 2 pm to 9 pm. The Folk Fest music is from 7 pm to 9 pm.

We have vegetarian hummus and pita on the takeout menu as well. For every order of hummus and pita we sell, we’re donating one dollar to the Cherry Valley Food Pantry.

The 2017 Cherry Valley Folk Fest for Food

Good to Go’s hours will change a bit for the next three weeks as the Cherry Valley Folk Fest for Food is the next three Thursdays.

We’ll be open Friday through Monday, noon to 7 pm. We’ll be open for the next three Thursdays from 2 pm to 9 pm. We’ll be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This means we will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8, and then Tuesday, August 15, and then Tuesday, August 22.

The Folk Fest is August 10, 17, and 24. Each of those Thursdays, we’re open from 2 pm to 9 pm. We will return to our regular schedule on August 25.

The Folk Fest for Food is an annual, three-evening event to support The Daily Bread Food Pantry. Three concerts are held in downtown Cherry Valley (in the NBT Bank parking lot right across the street) the last three Thursday evenings of August, starting at 7 pm. The Folk Fest is hosted by Gravelyard Bluegrass and the Village and Town Boards of Cherry Valley, NY.

We have a cold farro duck salad on the Good to Go takeout menu this weekend.

Organic Grass-fed Beef Hot Dogs

We’re back, and we have organic, grass-fed beef hot dogs on Heidelberg buns, with house pickles and kale slaw.
