Vegan Spring Rolls

Today only: vegan spring rolls on the Good to Go takeout restaurant menu.

Vegan Spring Rolls Special (two for $7)
Fried tofu and shallots,* vermicelli, enoki, pickled cucumber, carrots,* cabbage, and herbs,* served with kefir lime daikon salad and fresh peanut sauce.*

We’re reminding everyone that we’ll be closed tomorrow and Wednesday so that we can be open for the Folk Fest for Food on Thursday, from 2 pm to 9 pm. The Folk Fest music is from 7 pm to 9 pm.

We have vegetarian hummus and pita on the takeout menu as well. For every order of hummus and pita we sell, we’re donating one dollar to the Cherry Valley Food Pantry.

The 2017 Cherry Valley Folk Fest for Food

Good to Go’s hours will change a bit for the next three weeks as the Cherry Valley Folk Fest for Food is the next three Thursdays.

We’ll be open Friday through Monday, noon to 7 pm. We’ll be open for the next three Thursdays from 2 pm to 9 pm. We’ll be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This means we will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8, and then Tuesday, August 15, and then Tuesday, August 22.

The Folk Fest is August 10, 17, and 24. Each of those Thursdays, we’re open from 2 pm to 9 pm. We will return to our regular schedule on August 25.

The Folk Fest for Food is an annual, three-evening event to support The Daily Bread Food Pantry. Three concerts are held in downtown Cherry Valley (in the NBT Bank parking lot right across the street) the last three Thursday evenings of August, starting at 7 pm. The Folk Fest is hosted by Gravelyard Bluegrass and the Village and Town Boards of Cherry Valley, NY.

We always have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

Lamb Kibbeh

Lamb kibbeh is Lebanese street food making its first appearance on the Good to Go takeout menu.

Our kibbeh is made with local, grass-fed, ground lamb from Bach Farms in Mohawk. It has a bulgur/potato crust, comes on a bed of lettuce, with veggies, lentil harissa, Windy Hills Farm feta cheese, and date chutney.

We still have some of the sweet chervil braised cod and all our usual items. Don’t worry, cheesesteak lovers, we’ll have more of our NY cheesesteak soon.

Pepper Steak Stuffed Potato

The Good to Go takeout menu has a brand new way to serve this delicious, organic, grass-fed  Nectar Hills Farm beef: a stuffed baked potato.

We realize that some of you really, really want your organic, grass-fed, roast beef on a New York Cheesesteak, so we’re still making those too–with NY onions, peppers, Palatine provolone cheese, on a Heidelberg baguette.

An old favorite, the grass-fed beef meatball subs, are back on the Good to Go takeout menu.

Grass-fed ground beef from Bach Farm in Mohawk made into meatballs with house marinara,* Italian cheeses, a bed of local wild arugula, on a Heidelberg baguette. Add local provolone or mozzarella.

Open All Week This Week

We will be open all week this week to help all you hungry people who discover The Coyote is closed until March.

We’ll be open our usually closed days–Wednesday and Thursday–from noon to 7 pm.  We will go back to our usual schedule starting Wednesday, March 1.

We hope this clears up any confusion you might feel when you see we’re open tomorrow and Thursday.

BLASTOS!

The BLASTO, Robin’s extreme BLT, has found its way onto the Good to Go takeout menu today!

The BLASTO (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Sprouts, Tomato, Onion) is uncured turkey bacon, lettuce,* avocado, sprouts,* tomato (heirloom), and onion* sandwich with house olive oil mayo,* served on a Heidelberg baguette. Can also be a CLASTO which is made with Nectar Hills Farm grass-fed beef* chorizo instead of the turkey bacon. Hold the meat for a great vegetarian sandwich!
